GET INVOLVED!

Many people want to achieve great things in life; often times,we hear statements like, I'd like to be like this or that person, we admire these people, we envy them, we love their cars and houses. In short, we wish we were in their shoes but the truth is people who make such elaborate wishes are neither ready mentally nor physically to pay the price. Many of us crave for one miracle or the other concerning certain areas of our lives yet we seldom connecting with God through our faith. We want something to happen without our involvement. God isnt a magician. You'd better get up and attend that crusade! Likewise, in our chosen career some of us desire to climb the corporate ladder to the very top but wouldnt make any effort to know how and what is required to get there. We fold our alms and yet hope for the best. No, it wouldnt work that way. I've read autobiographies and biographies of some of the most successful men and women in Nigeria and one thing i've been able to discover thus far is that they only tell us about their humble beginnings and probably the end of the story(their achievements or success). What happens between the beginning and the ending, we dont know. The attitude is that you fill in the gap your self. I am not unaware that it took them days, months or perhaps years and real hard work to get to where they are today. That is the detail of the story that they wouldnt want to disclose cheaply to anyone. It cost them a lot. They were involved in the process of their own making. You dont leave every thing to God, you should cooperate with him so as to bring you to your expected end. Be your own angel. God needs your cooperation. Your destiny needs your involvement. A folded arm is a folded destiny. What are you doing right now about your career, your calling, your potential or talent, your passion? Where do you intend to find yourself in the next five years and how do you intend to get there? These are vital questions that should be answered by action and not by mere words. Your lecturers or mentors may not tell you everything about the "how" factor and that is why you must make deliberate intelligent effort in making sure that your goals are achieved. It is high time you woke up from your slumber. You must be a smart Hardworker. Go to the street of Lagos State and you will agree that many people are actually working very hard with nothing to show for it. Smart hardwork provides you the details and platform for real success. Do the right thing at the right time...seek for details in your area of specialization and get started today. Get involved! Have a great day. #Signed.
