THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN NATION BUILDING (1)

I enabled my data one morning in other to attend to some pending messages on whats app only to find something that has got me thinking; you probably must have come across this though, here is what I found:
"Buhari @72, strived to become the President,
Nana Addo is 72, he wants to be the President
Bernie Sanders is 74, he wants to become the President
Donald Trump is 69, he wants to become the President
Hillary Clinton @68 wants to become the President"

So, I ask myself, where are the youth? why is it all about the Aged? why is it that the same people who are supposed to be singing the song of retirement are the ones refiring? what exactly is the problem? is it that youth are not trusted enough to do the right things or what? could it be that they are afraid of their shadows or the youth simply are not just paying attention to leadership?

When the older generation still claims and assumes leadership over the younger generation who is supposed to have taken over the baton, then there is a big problem.  The catholic truth is that the youth are to blame for their lukewarmness and negligence if we don't wise up and do the needful the change that we clamor will not commence.  A wise man once said nothing will happen if good people with good intentions keep quiet and do nothing. it is high time we equip ourselves with integrity and step on the platform.

Youth need to be orientated on the power of integrity.  There is no integrity in embezzlement, fraud and failure. The richest men and women in the world are not corporate robbers or political robbers, they are people of great minds-initiatives and innovations who have not stopped working hard to earn their success in life.  The Nigerian Youth must be orientated, abeg let's wise-up!
